It is currently one of the leading journals publishing original research in the field of media management. Current co-editors Prof. Dr. Bozena I. Mierzejewska (=mcminstitute) and Prof. Dan Shaver (Jönköping International Business School, Sweden) together with an international Editorial Board produce 4 issues a year. All published articles are subject to the double-blind peer review. In 2010 the acceptance rate was 23 %. The journal has a worldwide distribution in print and electronic format, adheres to Open Access policy and is indexed in CIOS, EBSCOhost, Scopus, IBZ, LexisNexis, ABI/INFORM and Communication Abstracts.
