At the Center for Book and Publishing Studies the research and teaching activities focus on the cultural, social, technological and economic aspects of the medium book and its intermedial context. The impact of media change and the digitalization of the publishing and media industry is a central issue.
The department Media and Culture (Center for Book and Publishing Studies) is responsible for two educational programs:
- the Certificate in Book and Media Studies (Bachelor level)
- the Certificate in Business Journalism (Master level)
